What color did you end up going with? That's such a sick wheel. If I had a shit ton of money to throw around I would get some, but I've already changed wheels and tires twice on my build; I'm indecisive.

Just the matte black, I'm boring and not brave enough to go for the gold rims. Thought the black would look good on the blue truck though. And my son calls my truck blue beetle so I'm stuck with the blue and black theme I think.

That new blue for the 16's is awesome, it'll look great with the black wheels!

Yeah I really didn't like the blue on the 2nd gens but the new color is pretty nice.

Actually gonna have the skid powder coated since I suck at rattle canning. Everything was going just fine until the newspaper I had on the floor kicked up and stuck to the wet paint  so now my precious skid plate paint job is all messed up because I had to scrape off the newspaper with a flat head screw driver lol. I have no idea how I painted my bed rack and did such a good job before

$660 is pricey for all that stuff to be installed. Did any of it need fab work or cutting to be installed?

They charge by the hour sadly, $110/hr. Tell me how a local Powdercoat place called precision Powdercoating quoted me $300 to coat my skid plate:eek: that's more than my skid

Yeah that's still very pricey. Definitely over half of that stuff you could've done in the garage within a few hours. With this one I would hope they would've charged by the job. That's ok though, the Greentree guys are good guys and I bet it's gonna turn out awesome.
Alaska is so expensive. Is it because there's not too many Places that do powder coating?

Maybe but it's still a ridiculous price, the skid was $280, and pelfreybilt would've coated it for $40

Dang, well no matter what, it's always a little dissatisfying paying all that money and receiving it damaged. But hey, if the rattle can will fix it then go for it! lol I have rattle canned stock wheels right now! And screw waiting that long again!!!! I'm not looking forward to the wait whenever I purchase my shocks and leafs... or bumper in the future.. :annoyed:

Yeah I was little bummed but at least it can be fixed! And when I purchased my shocks I waited 2 days, I was impatient and took the plunge and paid $180 in shipping from ToyTec to get everything shipped to my door, had it installed the next week. The struggle of living in Alaska...

Wow that's fast! Especially since we live in a different galaxy than the lower 48. I'm considering doing that as well, but I guess we will see whenever that times comes! I won't be ordering my shocks till about winter time, got some other stuff I got to spend money on :/ Plane tickets suck.
