In honor of national Chicken Wing day yesterday, got to hang with a couple buddies at the local BWW..one of which has this sweet FJ:

Started on a few small things today:

First of which being the deep dish satoshi I am building for @GARSHA91

Then I focused on my rig and stuff I have laying around the garage to install:

I mounted the Sasquatch lights that I have been putting off doing for a while now. So far, I just have 2 mounted on either side of the TopRac. I would like to hopefully figure out a way to mount the other two hanging off the rear of the TopRac to shine down onto the tailgate and rear area of the truck. Once I find a way to do that, they will all be wired up:

Lastly, I mounted 6 of the 8 FrontRunner cargo rings; some are simply to make getting the next crazy ass thing from the store my wife wants home safely and securely and some are for a project I am keeping under wraps..for now.. :anonymous:

There is so much stuff that needs to be installed that just has been sitting around :pout: next will be ripping out all the old "rock lights" and installing my new ones from Undead Off-Road..but I'm lazy so hopefully before fall, I can get that done..

    :bananadead:

    Agreed

Weve been through this with Ace. He's going to have to learn the hard way through piles of money.

With the 63s the 12" shock becomes the limiting factor. With the BAMF/12"/flip you can use all of the 12"

63s/14s/custom hoop/bed support may not be worth the investment to all. Its clearly pointed out in Nate's build, but he has a flatbeb and can use that to fit the bigger shocks. Regardless, something else is going to become the limiting factor like DL or lines...

    It never ends.

I heard it's all according to the way it's setup. I don't think @Rattletrap66 has had any probs. I know @NwiTACO said @GARSHA91 wouldnt need limit straps I'm pretty sure

But I'm happy with my setup like it is now and I don't plan on changing anything anytime soon besides a shackle flip

Driving yesterday. Saw an "offroad" built jeep with so much fucking chrome that his diff was chrome

True. I get stares from dudes in jeep all the time and I just laugh. But when a girl in her boys jeep is checking your truck out:

Allow me to add some clarification to my post. I didnt say there would be problems. I said there would be limitations. There is only so far a 12" shock can move. Yes, it is about how its setup and as long as the installer measures, cycles, measures and installs there wont be any.
Look at Nate's build, he has 18s with the Skyjacker 63" leafs. So with that said, the 12" shock is a limiting factor on a 63" leaf spring.

All comes down to how it's installed and which Chevy leaf pack you go with I believe. I could be totally wrong on the lead pack part

    Thanks man!

HERE is the post of the support brackets..I am not sure if the SOS bumpers come with them or not. @Acerwin, maybe you can help?

Honestly, the ones that came with my Pelfreybilt bumper were kind of cheap and they looked like they wouldn't work well. That is to say that I am sure most guys on here run them with their Pelfreybilt bumpers and they work fine, but I don't feel I could trust those brackets. You can see how stout Billy's brackets are in the pics in that post. He has told me plenty of horror stories of other companies brackets not working and actually ripping the bumpers off

My .02, get the brute force fab brackets.

He has them but they aren't gusseted like the BFF ones.
Pelfreybilts brackets are still made really well, but protects differently than the others. I would trust them alone but never hurts to have extra protection. I have both on my frame.
