SHTF Test --> are you ready?
I was reading this forum and a thought struck. (hurt too!)

There is a lot of smart talk and posing, but how many of us (me included) are really READY? How would you even know if you were or weren't? That made my mind tick over into a simple test. Anybody game to give it a try?

1) Turn off the water, gas, electric, phone, internet to the house. (cell phone too!)
2) Seal your wallet - after the SHTF money will be meaningless.
3) Gather up your stuff and go to where you plan to be and set up "camp".
4) See how long you can last.
5) Take stock of your situation and update supplies / strategies, etc. How did you get water? Where did you go to poop and pee? (Will it foul the water supply and spread disease?) Heat food? (for the first 60 days cold odor free food is smarter). Heat your living area? Are you able to protect you area? Is the area concealed (only way to go as you will always be overrun by a mob).


Here's a couple time points on how long you will need to hold out to get past the worst rough patches.

After 2-3 days - people will be thirsty and willing to kill for drinking water.

After 7 days - people will be hungry and willing to kill for food.

After 14 days - all forms of shelter will have been ransacked for food, water, clothes, supplies, etc.

After 21 days - cannibalism will begin. 90% of all gasoline / diesel will have been found and consumed. If you are heating / cooking with wood - the smoke and food smells are an invitation to break in and kill you.

After 30 days - every person you see will have either been robbed, raped, beaten or will have robbed, raped, beaten and murdered. (Treat them accordingly)


If you read historical records, when "rescue" is anticipated, people will be willing to share and work together. But, when rescue is not possible, the strong ALWAYS kill the weak and take what they need to survive.

I can see Iran getting nukes and flinging several at Israel and several at the Saudi oil fields. That would cause a stopage of 70% of the world's oil for several weeks to months with a major constriction for years. Fuel at $20-30 a gallon -- if you can locate it. Rationed electric to 1/100th what it is now. Global collapse of trade as transport costs exceed the value of most goods. I can even see China flinging nukes at us from diesel subs off shore as well as at Japan. Russia would also storm across Europe and retake all the former satellite countries and expand taking more land for naval bases and oil. That will trigger global Islamic Jihad."

 

And everything in the bible is true...

I'd be more likely to blame it on a rouge terror group and a lost soviet nuke then a book written that long ago...

 

There are people in other countries living like this everyday.

Have you seen Jesus?? Do you believe in Jesus (I do) ...we believe in him but no one has seen him?? why?? Faith!!
2 Timothy 3:16,17 says All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work.
You must have faith to belive that the word of God is reliable & accurate no matter how long ago it was written!

No I don't.

That would be NO one has seen him. And I don't discount the bible because it was written that long ago...I discount the bible because it's factually untrue and been manipulated thru out the ages to suit the purposes of those with "faith"

And that "faith" thing...Lots of people have it....and not all of them believe in the bible either.

PS- I'm plenty well equipped for "every good work" without needing a bible. I'm capable of thinking for myself and knowing right from wrong.
