Just got to level 7 from evolving a few pokemon

 

I'm currently catching pokemon, but not evolving or transferring them. I'm waiting to fill up my 250 slots, then I'll use a lucky egg and do a mass transfer / evolve session to double my experience, should get from level 15-18 in about 30min. I'm also holding off for my third level evolutions until lvl20 since the rewards aren't as strong.

Also it was going crazy in Columbus, GA yesterday. People out in droves playing:

Same for my friend that lives in a rural area. He said he's never seen a Pokemon and has to drive into town to find anything.


Luckily for my wife and I, Columbus is nicknamed "The City of Fountains" so you can only imagine how many places there are like this throughout the town. This game is so oddly addicting.

 

Yup, I can't walk anywhere. But wifey and I will take a drive...

 

Portals, or "pokestops" are based off what we in ingress decided what would be a portal and what wouldn't. This was 4 years of doing leg work. In less population dense areas, there are less players, so less reason to make portals out of nowhere. In my neighborhood, we have maybe 2 portals per square mile. Some areas there aren't portals for 30 miles. Again, just depends on the density and ingress population in that area.

 

What happens when you reach 250? I'm assuming of any type, not 250 different types.

Is Ingress still used? Like can you designate a portal in Ingress and it get transferred into Go?
