I don't wanna mess with headlights, that's why I leave that to the experts on this. But you should go for it. The cost for my custom made headlights are $650 maybe more depending on cost increase of parts.

I can't justify spending that much on headlights since I already have my Spyders. Plus there's a lot more I wanna do with my truck that'll cost me some money, tires/rims, rear MOLLE storage, LED light bar, the list goes on. Plus if I mess up my stock headlights, its ok, because I have my Spyders. But its definitely on my "to-do" list for my truck
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Got a Jumper LED kit for the map and dome lights, and they came with free license plate lights as well. Turned out really nice, and the white light looks much nicer than the incandescent yellow lightthumb_IMG_3868_1024.jpg thumb_IMG_3869_1024.jpg thumb_IMG_3871_1024.jpg thumb_IMG_3873_1024.jpg thumb_IMG_3868_1024.jpg thumb_IMG_3869_1024.jpg thumb_IMG_3871_1024.jpg thumb_IMG_3873_1024.jpg

image.jpg image.jpg Some asshole knocked the driver's side mirror, so I used it as an excuse to get turn signal mirrors (I still have to wire up the turn signal part)

Some of the interior switch lights were burned out, and upon learning how to swap the lights out, I learned how easy it was, and decided to get white LEDs for all of my switches, thus getting rid of more of the amber lighting out of my truckIMG_4363.jpg

Finally got around to replacing the original battery that came with the truck. I figured it was probably a good idea, seeing that it was starting to have trouble starting in temperatures as warm as 45 degrees. That old battery lasted 8 years and 214 thousand miles, impressive to say the least.

Craigslist is a beautiful thing. I found a brand new, never-opened Bakflip G2 tonneau cover. Guy was selling it for $600, and I was able to talk him down to $470. Considering they retail for around $800, I'd say I got it for a steal.

It wasn't hard at all. If you want FM/AM radio, you need an adapter, and you need to buy a mic if you want hands-free calling. There's a wiring harness adapter set you can buy that will have all of that for you (I can't remember the part number unfortunately). Other than that, its very easy. All of the old bolt holes line up and it just slides right in no problem.

Where did you buy the adapters from? And does your truck have JBL? Will I need a special on for the JBL unit?

My truck doesn't have JBL, I'm not sure if there's a difference in the install or not, sorry. There's threads that were written about doing the swap. As for the adapters, I found them on metrotoyotapartsnow.com/

Decided to swap out the mesh grille for a stock 2011 honeycomb grille. I'm thinking that the emblem won't be chrome for long, but I don't know what color I want it to be yet

I don't remember unfortunately. I googled something along the lines of "mountain silhouette sticker", and it was one of the first links that came up

Made a switch panel out of scrap 10 ga. steel that was lying around at the shop. Cleaned it up, cut it to size, milled it out, and stuck the pull out tabs and switch panel on there. Once I get a light bar, compressor, and A-pillar lights (which is in the mail), all the switches will go here
