Could always do it at a state park. Be plenty of room that way. People would have to bring grills though. I could possibly do it at my place but Im far from most of ya

I agree with lift the trailer. I have a 4x8 utility trailer that I went from sprin under to spring over axle. Fit the 3" lift on my truck quite nicely. Just know that the bigger the drop, the more it torques on the receiver, and thus the less weight you can reasonably handle. If you can lift the trailer enough to get by on 3" drop rather than 6" drop, you will be better off.

Maybe like somebody who lives in the country on 10 acres where gunshots are a regular occurrence. Plenty of space for people to stretch out RTTs or pitch one on the ground. My dogs run around all the time without leashes or collars. All I'd have to do is have the wifey spend more time with her sister. Also as a minor side note, I am 40 minutes north of i90 above Spokane

This is right up @busmup808 's alley! I'm too lazy to find the post, but I seem to remember him saying we are all welcome any time as long as we bring beer?

Yes you are all welcome to my house for a bbq. My back yard is pretty big and there is a lot of parking for the trucks. Heineken is the choice of alcohol, but all other brands are welcome. Even the harder stuff are gude. I will let you know that, if you can't drive back home, I will not have you drive! Safe iz always better than sorry.

To the rat problem: you need a farm cat. Doesn't matter that you may or may not like cats, it's like having an exterminator that gets paid in food scraps. Clean up is still on you, unfortunately

To the hitch question: if you are dropping much, get a solid core hitch.

Great lets figure out a date! Maybe pick a Saturday in case people have to sleep over from drinking. I just might make a run up to Taylor Shellfish Farm to get fresh oysters. Also been saving some elk backstrap for a special occasion.

There are wheeling trips planned for the last two weekends of this month so maybe the first half of August?

They closed the past going east on Sunday due to some accident for 6 hours. I could not stand it sitting any longer so I turned around and went back 2 exits to keechelus. 3 days at keetchelus. Left early Wed morning to salvage the trip and drove up to Gallaher Head Lake. What a view. Going back there in 2 weeks to camp.

Just took the out of state Utah permit class last weekend and they covered this exact issue during the class.

In Washington state, if you DON'T have a permit, you can have a loaded magazine in your vehicle, in the same bag even but if the magazine is TOUCHING your gun, it's considered loaded as I understood it.
If I remember correctly, IN OREGON, if you have a loaded magazine in the same vehicle (maybe your gun is in the trunk and your magazine is in the back seat) it's considered loaded.
Crazy, uninformed, anti-gun weirdos make up these laws, which is pretty obvious when you consider their absurdity.
Like always, verify anything you read online with your local RCW's. (RCW 9.41 in Washington State).
