Reaching out to see if anyone knows for certain what the back windows of the 2016 double cab Tacoma are tinted at. I am about to get my fronts tinted to match and the installer is telling me they are 20% but they seem lighter than many other vehicles that I have seen on the road claiming 20% tint as well. Want to make sure I get a solid dark the first time and not have to do over to make darker. Thanks in advance for the responses!

I thought everyone was getting 35 to match? Where I went they put 30 on the front and 40 on the back. It kept the back slightly darker as it is out of factory, while going darker overall. Also 40 on the rear and a slight one on the front. I would think 20 would be way darker but I'm definitely not an expert.

I do tint at a Nissan dealership and they are smoked to 25% it is not a tint because "tint" is a film adhered to the window. the factory dips the rear glass in a smokey like clear coat glaze. A good way to think of it is it's like the VHT night shades but very high quality so you never have to worry about it peeling or turning purple
