Got my truck back today after having the hood adhesive repaired under warranty. They did a great job and no more hood vibrations. It's obvious the techs take pride in their work.

I've been to a few toyota dealers in phoenix and Scottsdale and must say Big 2 is miles ahead of their competition. I have no affiliation with them I just believe in voting with my dollars.

I checked the size charts on the crushers. Looks like all they sell with your bolt pattern have the correct bore size. They should be fine. You need to try and document every time it happens with date, mph and mileage to have something for the dealer or for your tire installer. A near perfect balanced tire can still be off at higher speeds and not show in city driving. I would rather find out without having the dealer charge you to balance them. If they find one after market wheel out of balance then they are going to charge you for new balancing. That is not a warranty item.

    Thats sweet!!

I just sent a message to a guy on facebook that lives in Lakeland and customizes stainless cups like the yeti. Im trying to get him to make me one with the Toyota devil horn emblem on one side, my last name on the other, and a textured coating.

He did this one for my step brother. So im thinking he wont have much trouble with what im asking. Havent gotten a price from him yet though.

I commute 70 miles round-trip and am finally fed up with the audio system (non-JBL entune). Today I purchased the OEM Audio + Reference 450Q system. I will post more after the install.

    Looks good.

So I hear a lot about this hood vibration issue and I'm not entirely sure what everyone means by it. My truck has been plagued by the standard issues others have faced which it is what it is; I still love the truck. With that in mind, I wonder if the slight "flapping" I see driving down the highway is the symptom others are describing.

I actually e-mailed them bacck and forth last night, responded fairly quick. The white ditch lights were out of stock, which worked out for me because I wanted the amber ones anyways so I was able to switch it up. He said the ambers were going out this morning/tomorrow.. So I'm sure the white ditch lights will be back in stock very soon. They've also replied to my DM's on instagram within the hour.

Aw yeah.. front seat covers came in today.. just put them in and I'm pretty stoked. An added pleasant surprise, it even came with a set of molle puches which I was not expecting at all. Today was nothing but WIN!

There's is a good chance of it. When you pop your hood you should see what looks like somebody smooshed the hood subframe to the hood skin with bubble gum. If that "bubble gum" is coming apart have it looked it at. Over time the excessive vibration could cause paint damage.

I did something totally unusual to my truck today. I had a new set of exotic wheels and tires put on...

    Wait for it....
