I've heard the best way to touch up the black powdercoat is with Rustoleum Satin Black; does anyone have pictures of how the Satin Black looks on top of the powdercoat? Does it stick out like a sore thumb?

There's no real warranty on the powdercoat is there? I forget where but I thought I saw a disclaimer somewhere before. Bumper came kinda scratched up and I was wondering how satin black rustoleum would look on top of the powder?

I had some scratches like that on my rear bumper. I taped it off good and hit it with Rustoleum. There is a difference, which is pretty noticeable at first. As time has gone on (probably 6 months) it has become less noticeable. Truth be told, you are the only one who will ever notice it, and that will eventually fade with time. So the question is, is it worth a couple hundred bucks to you to re-coat it? Doubtful since you just dropped probably $1,500 on it.

Yeah I'm sure as it weathers it'll become less noticeable, I'll just end up touching it up. I'm not so worried since it's aluminum and it won't rust. Plus the powdercoating businesses up here in AK think they're spraying liquid gold. Got quoted $300 to coat my IFS skid

Yeah, it's going to be hard to find something to match really well but if prepped and painted properly you can find something to work out!

Or, if you plan on using the bumper pretty hard just get some of these stickers! :D

If only you could see my truck. Rust everywhere. I usually go over it annually and hit it with a few cans of rustoleum. Then again idc about scratches or dents.

The Rustoleum Satin Black does match pretty darn well. Sorry about scratches when they arrive, we really do pack these things good but somehow the shippers find a way to damage stuff every now and then.
