I don't want to bad mouth these tires because I love the way they handle on and off road just wanted to get some attention and figured this would get you to read the thread.

Ok I have an 04 5-lug and installed Daystar spacers and 235/75 Duratracs back in September. I noticed recently that the outside edge of the blocks on both front tires is wearing away pretty quick. I needed to have my oil changed anyway so I took it to the shop that installed the tires and spacers and told them while they were servicing it that I wanted them to check the alignment. They showed me a printout and told me the alignment was fine. One of the guys that worked there told me that they're wearing like that because I put aggressive tires on a 2wd truck and the suspension is setup different than a 4wd. He said the only thing I can do is rotate them every 3,000 miles instead of every 6,000. Does this make sense to anyone? I wouldn't have questioned him if he said it was from driving hard into turns and stuff like that but this doesn't make sense to me. I don't really know what camber but have heard that if it's off your tires will wear prematurely. I also noticed that the front tires looked like they were bowed out slightly but this could just be my imagination getting the best of me when I noticed the tires were wearing like they are.
Can anybody second what the guy at the shop said or offer a different cause and solution to this problem? These tires only have 3,000 miles on them and need to last a while

    do you have stock uca's?
because if you do thats probably what it is causing the problem.

Do you have a copy of the alignment sheet they showed you?? I have a very hard time believing your alignment is right.
Just a CYA question-Have you checked the inflation?? There should be wear inside and outside if the air si off...but just in case.

I've had mine installed since June and probably have around 10k miles on. I haven't noticed any problems as far as wearing yet (knock on wood).

I honestly don't think it's the tires themselves. When they check alignment do they check camber or whatever it is?
    Yes they are stock UCA's
And no I don't have the sheet but I might have to go back and get them to look at it again.
I'll try to take some pics tomorrow so maybe you guys can tell me if I've lost my mind or not about the top being bowed out more than the bottom
Oh and the wear is just on the outside of the front tires. the inside blocks aren't getting eaten away at all

I have about 5,000 miles on mine and they barely show and wear on them. I just finished the first rotation and they still looked new. OP, your alignment may be out of spec???

I had my 3" lift on with stock uca's an the front insides were wearing faster. Getthe alignment specs from someone on here. I'm on my phone right now. Then take it to them and have them dial it in to those numbers.

I'm using stock uca's but then again my coilovers aren't giving me more than 2'' of lift either.
