What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Yeah, with just the tent, bed rack, and toolbox it's smoother. But once I add tools, my full size spare, and all my camping gear it feels awesome.

 

With just my camper shell on it was fine. Might be too stiff for some, but I prefer that to squatting when loaded.

Yep they ride great when loaded.

And they surprisingly have decent flex when unloaded also.

 

Here is the difference with it practically empty vs easily over 300lbs of weight.

Loving the little bit of rake when it's unloaded, man! And it hardly moved with all that weight. Makes me feel pretty good about going that route!

 

Yup, it's surprising about how little it moves with a lot static weight added. Flexes really well though.

 

anyone have an idea of what a fair price for a rust free bed would be? I found one 4 hours away but it seems pricey at $2400

Maybe look for somebody parting one out on craigslist?

I'm pretty sure thats all first gens by now. Only way there not rusty is if they were restored or should I say resto-mod lol last question has anyone done the U-bolt flip kit from allpro if so can you show me a picture of how you set it up. Sorry for all the questions
