Hmm if all you added was the winch and some aftermarket fogs then there shouldn't be any problems. The winch wouldn't be full time power usage. The fogs.. Maybe, but not if they LED

It would be crummy if they spliced off your headlight power to run relays to power the spots and light bar. Any pics of the wiring?

I supplied a special adaptor for the dually fogs that way they can wire right up to the factory switch, they can only turn on when the headlights are on. I wouldn't think it would be an issue since I took the factory fogs out, and the winch is only real thing I added power wise since the fogs were just a replacement

I had them do the light bar a while back, it's been working flawlessly ever since, they just moved it from behind the grille and into the bumper today, no wiring for it

Shit they also didn't even put the abrasion sleeve on the rope, and that's something that you have to do when installing the winch if I'm correct....:

The abrasion sleeve is provided with the synthetic rope and must be used with the synthetic rope, at all times to protect the rope from potential abrasion wear. The sleeve has a loose fit so it can easily be positioned along the synthetic rope to protect from rough surfaces and sharp corners.

Well maybe the oem fogs run off different power than the headlights. And the adaptor that you gave them:notsure: maybe they used to splice off of the headlight power. I have heard that depending on winch power, the amperage of the stock alternator isn't quite enough for powering a winch. But again, that shouldn't dim your headlights. Is there a quick disconnect for your winch? You could try unplugging it to rule it out? And I think the Fogs have connectors? Might help GTF to isolate which thing is robbing power. I plan on running a similar setup to yours so...
Hoping I might be able to save myself $660

Learn from my mistakes! No quick disconnect for the winch, I don't know what the hell is going on lol, I just want my headlights to work

It wires straight to the battery and is powered that way, apparently it only draws power though when you plug the controller in but idk

Hmm. Well if I was in AK I'd be more than happy taking a gander. Sorry man..
Good thing about GreenTree is that those guys are honest and trustworthy. It sucks that they didn't Ops check the truck before handing it to the customer, but we can all rest easy knowing that they'll do whatever it takes to make it right.

Thanks man that'd be nice of ya! And yeah I messaged Dan at GTF and he said they'd take care of it so I trust em to make it right, especially since I spend so much money there

I find it funny how when I picked up my truck I noticed they hadn't put the abrasion sleeve on the rope but I totally spaced it and forgot that you have to completely spool out the rope and remove it from the drum to put the sleeve on. Hopefully we don't have to drop the bumper to install the sleeve.

You're friends with Dave Curtiss right?

Sorry for the thread jack. Was the sleeve not on there before you had it moved into the bumper?

Edit: the winch was new to the truck wasn't it?
