Good morning TW... Another sticky day in CT.

 

Supposed to be in the low to mid 90's today... Yuck!

 

As a matter of fact the AC just kicked on in the house...

 

An excavating company I worked for had a f450 with the v-10, unloaded it had lots of go go juice, but when loaded it couldn't move out of its own way. One job required a fairly steep grade to climb with a full load of aggregate, had to use 4 low to get up the hill. Probably a 8/9% grade.

 

Wholley blast from the past, how long ago did I post that?

That's surprising to hear about the V10. I don't have a lot of experience with it but I don't recall hearing about issues with it being down on power either. Oh well, I can't see having a need for something that big in the foreseeable future.

Was working on a batch of ball soup this morning on my way in. Love driving the '69, but there's times I wish it had better air conditioning than just turning the wing window around, lol. Would have taken the Tacoma, but there's a cruise night at a local diner that the GF and I are going to after work. Especially if she gets herself her Mustang today (she said she was going to when I left the house this morning, but she said the same thing yesterday too )

 

Indeed it is. AC kicked on bright and early this A.M. in the house. Opened the door to put the dog out, and YUCK. Lovely...

 

dang was in conferences all day yesterday, but haven't gotten an alert for this thread and had to go looking for it

i probably didn't, i was in conferences all day then had to take my coworker and boss around boston all night

 

Which whip did you take them around in?! Taco or Beemer?

 

rented an "suv" so they'd be comfortable (plus with their luggage etc). enterprise ran out and i ended up with a fiat 500L. i've already been asked to write an article on how much i hated it

Finally got a microcell for free after complaining to ATT about the lack of service at my place.
Now I get 5 bars inside the house and 3-4 outside. Can finally get rid of my landline. Also dumped fios tv and kept the internet. Started to use playstation vue for cable, and hdtv antenna for local stations.
