Lol I love rental car companies. I need a 4x4 truck, like absolutely need it, to get around WV when I'm down there for work. I can't tell you how many times, even though it's explicitly stated when I make the reservation exactly what I want; I got an awd Chrysler pacifica fucking minivan initially that they try to give me.

 

Had a similar experience once. I tried to rent a 9 passenger van, showed up and they had a pickup truck for me. I pointed to the parking lot and said to the guy, you saw me pull up in that truck out there, right (a fullsize Dodge diesel)? Does it look like I need to rent an F150? I need to move people, live ones, not cordwood.

 

Working from home again. Enjoying the outside before it gets too swassy..Also, anyone else have stupid amounts of pollen at their house? I clean my deck/table off every week and after a couple of days it looks like dogshit again with like an.inch thick coating of pollen on everything.

 

What part of WV do you go to?! My bro in law lives in Teays Valley, which is half hour past Charleston, and I go down there once in a while to visit. Love it down there. People are super nice.

 

i can't bash them. i rent all the time and they always take good care of me, and give me free upgrades. one time getting screwed not too bad

 

I love it down there too, generally go 1-2 times a month for 3-4days. I have projects in Fayette, Greenbriar, Tazwell, McDowell Counties. Usually I stay in.Beckley which is about an hour south of Charleston, or in Princeton if I'm down South in Tazwell/McDowell counties.

 

Anybody use that deckover paint on there deck ? Or a similar product .

 

Same, I'm like super executive platinum diamond pixy dust status with National so I always get what I want. I find the people at the counter in Charleston don't know how to read the majority of the time

 

i rent so often i'm on a first name basis with all the guys at my local branch, and they even know which cars i don't like for my back haha

 

How do I go about doing this? Cell service (AT&T) sucks at my place.

Could have been worse, the Juke I got was the second worse car I've ever driven. I HATED the thing, absolutely HATED it.

 

Did it on my parent's house out at the Cape two years ago I think. Starting to peel in areas and lift off. If I recall it was stuff from HD. It also makes the deck hot when in the sun, similar to Trex or alike. Only reason I used it was that there was a lot of splits and slivers on the deck. Covered them up so you could walk barefoot but it's only a temporary solution.

 

My ex said the same thing for towing. When the bed was empty it was fine, put a car on it, suddenly had no balls. The turbo diesel is the better option.

 

Was it the V10 that had the terrible issue with plugs? I thought there was some maintenance that needed to be done that was known to cause motor issues.

 

I called and said I'd been a customer since 2007, and I dont get cell service inside or outside my house and was considering switch carriers. I asked if there was some setting change that would help (knowing full well there's just dogshit service at my place). After the rep supposedly tried to reconfigure something and it didn't have any effect (go figure) they transferred me to advanced customer support. Once I got to them they apperntly attempted some other fix which didn't do anything again. Then they were like well a microcell would work, and checked to see if I was eligible for a free one, which I was not for some reason. Then she asked if she wanted me to check with the manager to see if she could make it free, or if I wanted to buy it for $150 with a $75 rebate at which point I told her if I don't get it for free i'm switching carriers.

And bam, about 5 days later I have perfect service in my house and can finally get rid of my landline.

 

The V-10's had a tendency to fire plug cores out of the threads. Tons of fun.

 

I just know it had a V10, not sure which one.
