Put them all the way around for a uniform look. Otherwise you get that offroad flat track look with a wide front and skinny rear. It makes a difference

1.25" from spidertrax seems to be the only real option since i wouldn't try an offbrand part on something so crucial

I was asking you. Thanks. I want 285's but not sure if they will rub on the stock UCA's. Looking at spacers to make sure. I know nothing about spacers.

Well, one other thing you have to consider is the offset of whatever wheel you will be using. The deeper the offset the more it pushes that wheel out from your truck.

Why are you sticking with stock UCAs? Are you installing any type of lift?

Without any lift you may have a tough time stuffing that 285 in that wheelwell without a lot of cutting.

I have bilstein 5100 on there at 2.5" with stock rugged edition wheels. I dont know that their offset is. I am sticking with stock UCA's at the moment because I dont have the funds to upgrade them. What is the benefit to upgrading them anyway. I have never asked.

I started out with a 3" lift and when i put 285s on there i ended up cutting alot to get it to stop rubbing. I mean I cut a big chunk off from that frame mount point. I ended up raising it up another inch as well for clearance.

However, I have heard of others putting on 285s and not having to trim or cut out anything.

I cannot answer your stock UCA question about tire rub. However, I suspect it will rub with the stock parts.

I got it aligned, but I went to SEARS (Wont do that again) They gave me a printout of the alignment but couldnt explain it to me. I should go back and say that it isnt aligned and get them to realign it for free.

the whole spidertrax is better than all other spacers is the biggest joke ever. you can buy regular spacers (yes you can get hubcentric as well) from your local 4x4 shop or have a machine shop make them for you. the only difference between spidertrax and no name spacers is the color blue... i have had my no-name spacers on for over a year and have had no issues whatsoever with them. i went with the 1.25". dont waste your money on spidertrax spacers.

What about the small 3/16" universal spacers at pepboys. Are these ok to use as long as you can get the lug nuts on good?
