    We know this isn't a popular decision and that it would be met with some anger. We didn't want to shut it down and stop TW being a foundation for it but we have to look at it from a much larger picture. If this allowed to happen, then we have to be open to more and more of them. If we allow this but not others (without legitimate merit) we set a double standard. We'll gladly look at them on a case by case basis but to simply allow them all opens up TW to all sorts of crowdfunding iniatives and we'd prefer TW to not become that. You can agree or disagree, that's your prerogative but the decision's been made and supported.

    I'll share what I said to him.

    I get that this could open up a can of worms but this was out of kindness (like kindness :)) not out of greed like that bumper bull shit in which the mods didn't shut down the thread when facts were presented and the vendor still got plenty of free advertisement. 100 and some pages. Greed is good and kindness is bad on TW.
