Yeah probably around that... I notice it as I'm within 2-3 seconds of the stop sign or red light. If I brake hard (ie. go from ~20mph to 0 quickly), I don't notice it nearly as much.

If it doesn't squeak it's not a Toyota lol. Truly I don't have a clue why the hell the leaf pack area squeaks. I replaced my OEMs with Old man emu dakars and the damn thing still squeaks.

Hopefully someone who routinely drives the similar route with CC on and experiences the hanging 4th gear problem can chime in soon about any improvements.

WEll, my truck was hanging in 4th or 5th after going over a certain hill, while in cruise control.... I checked the fluid myself cuz dealer is a Turd. It was 3/4 liter low.... The result was that it does not hang in 4th anymore and very rarely in 5th, but some times on other hills it will hang for a shorter period of time (in 5th only)...but eventually does shift.... Filling the tranny DID make a difference for my truck.

    FWIW

What dealer did you take it to? I take mine to Livermore Toyota and they have been great. Just sent my service adviser and email and waiting to hear back from him.

Sorry Swimmer... I see that now...! I was just noting MY experience as some guys here think that low fluid doesn't make a difference with these issues. I agree with Gearcruncher, and believe the tranny should be properly filled and THEN do the TSB thingy... Not before...!

I'll see if I can get them to do the TSB for me now that I know it's filled.

Hopefully this reflash will be default on 2017's and onward. Congrats to the 3rd gen owners who dealt with Toyota and finally got a fix of some kind. I'm eager to see long term assessments of this TSB fix.

This is probably obvious, but I want to confirm... since this is a flash of the ECU/ECM, will the drive-by-wire system have to "relearn" my driving habits? I assume yes.

When in reality it was probably more the people calling and opening tickets thru Toyota Corporate lines that got their attention. Not saying they don't have a social media/internet liaison, but companies pay attention to ticket volume. More open tickets claiming the same thing means more attention.

    Either way it's a win.
