That's too bad, stumbled across some vids and looks awesome.

Haha I was thinking more along the lines of spectating as opposed to participating.

 

It was definitely a fun place, but as the years went on, the place got a little too rowdy. There were multiple deaths out there and the owners went under. Now the new owners are trying to convert it to a music festival venue.

 

Wow that really is terrible... It's too bad it wasn't more organized/safe, looked like an awesome place to watch the boggers. Is it only live music now? Are there any other places that are similar?

 

just gonna put this out there we were down in boca raton for 2 weeks and just got home this week, while we were down there I accidentally left a red cooler on the side of our car with my go pro hero 4 silver in it, we got back to our place and realized immediately and rushed back to find it was stolen (the whole cooler too not just the gopro!). It was at red reef beach near tower 8, probably a goner and its a long shot obviously but might as well see if anyone here has it or if they know someone who might haha. Its got a little crack near the lense on the plastic but thats the only distinguishable thing on it. better late than never and worth a shot asking lol.

 

Live music and those obstacle course races. The only place that I can think of that still does the big mud events is maybe the former "redneck yacht club" (they had to change the name from that because of copyright infringement from the singer of that song with the same title). Not certain what they renamed it but it's down near Punta Gorda

 

I did see a chick on a quad get creamed by a mega truck, she got med evac'd. Never heard if she lived or not.

 

The last time I was there, I watched the guy that had a seizure and fell off the stage and broke his neck that die. I knew then that I needed to stop attending those events

 

I heard about that.

 

Headed to Tampa around 9am tomorrow. Not sure if I wanna take a scenic route along the coast or just get there and be done with the drive lol

 

When I travel to GA or the panhandle I always take 19. More scenic, stores are right there on the side of the road & if there's an accident you're not stuck like the interstate. Oh & I use less gas. Haha

 

Ive taken that route several times, it is always great

 

The only part I don't like is when 8 get to Perry & the paper mill is running, it stinks to high hell. Haha

 

Hell we have a paper mill in Panama City so I didn't even notice it lol.

 

Yeah I'd imagine you'd get use to it but if your not it smells rotten.

 

Anyone feel like grabbing a beer tonight in Tampa? Been driving all day and I need a drink after these damn drivers lol

 

Don't smell it as often as I used to. Don't k ow if I've gotten used to it or they've changed some things lol

 

Gotten used to it probably. That and I don't think Arizona chemical has been running as much

 

Where you thinking & what time? Just got home from Tampa about an hour ago.

 

I don't care. I'm not picky lol. Going to be stayin with a family member in port richest so I'll drive wherever is good

 

I know one thing. I couldn't live in Millville. Its always bad over there, I'll stay in the park
