The big problem is the abundance of Bull Snakes, and they look very similar. I get kind of complacent after seeing a couple dozen of them while walking.
Bull snake, this fellow was over 3' long.

Rattlesnake. just over 2' long.

 

All that and they forgot the hemi swap, amateurs. Pass.

Those bull snakes are still mean though. Was handling one with leather gloves and it bit straight through. It was real heavy duty leather too.

Archer is usually off leash in that area. That is until yesterday. I think we'll stay on leash now until it cools off.

anyone here replace the boot for steering ? was curious how much this is going to cost me.
the boot has a tear and leaking and steering makes a squeaking noise when turning...

 

That is just a dust cover, if it's leaking PS fluid out of there you need a new rack.

Hmm decisions decisions,,,wait for the UPS man to show up and start installing new stuff in my hot a.. driveway or go on up to the mountains relax, shoot pics, poke around, kick rocks, smell flowers and watch the big bright moon on the alpine tundra in a fresh cool breeze to the sound of a crackling fire hoping to see Sasquatch.
