im thinking of paying double my payments each month that way i can pay mine off in 3 years, i havnt even givin my first payment, i payed the insurance for whole year hate bills feel like the faster im out of debt the more il enjoy it, should i or not?

I financed mine for 2.9% at the dealership for convenience. Will probably refi with my credit union in a few months at a lower rate and shorter term. Still. One of the best CD's I have found is a 1.21% so dollar for dollar it is Cheaper to use someone elses money than to invest in cash equitable funds. Of course if you have diversified you investments and are maxing out you company matched 401K all well and good. A 30K loan at 2.9% is chump change to pay when you can free up your cash for something more equitable. Gnome Sayin.

I traded my '11 4Runner Ltd, which I owned, and paid cash for the difference. Walked out of the dealer with my new Tacoma Ltd and title in hand. First new vehicle that i've bought that I didn't have to finance any part of.

Congrats! Just got mine this week and we will hopefully have it paid off in next 6-7 months. After that, never financing auto again. Most people talking s*** about financing and investing difference still live with Mommy. When you are debt free, you are essentially giving yourself early retirement income for life and massively reduce stress and risk. No one ever talks about that though.

I bought mine in Sept. 2014 and thankfully paid it off Sept. 2015, loved getting the title in hand. I'm thinking about joining you 3rd Gen guys soon, regardless, it'll be cash only from now on
