Plain clothes detectives in an unmarked Ford Explorer parked in the driveway. Vandals in the neighborhood. They suspect it to be kids who live across the field from us.... They knocked on the front door and asked if it was OK to park in our drive and watch all night. SURE! I said. Park a MARKED CAR there too if you'd like. I have ZERO issues with letting the neighborhood punks know I cooperate with the police....

It's ALWAYS good business to help the long arm of the law when you can!

Punks...best one could hope for is they catch them trying to vandalize you and use their batons up the little punk's butt and turn them into Popsicles. Little shits. Hate that BS.

The trouble is going on across my 8 acre yard, on the next street over. I'm on top of a hill, surrounded by open field, well lit, and have a pack of barking dogs. (And the neighbors all think I'm a trigger happy nut for some unknown reason) I'm safe for the most part. Police are using my clear vantage point to watch the next street. We all pretty much know who it is....and my drive looks straight at the house where these varmints live.

The detective said he plans on putting 1 or 2 of them in jail overnight and letting 'em "soak" as he put it.

I offered to lay down cover fire if they needed it. They graciously declined. :fenforcer:

Small town on a hot summer night. Kids get bored and want to stir up some "fun".....The mayor lives 2 streets over. Police probably got their marching orders to break this shit up quick-time.....
