The stick out further than the tube steps, but is a tad higher. The rhino liner like coating is definitely more grippy than the OEM tube steps.

Frankly, I bought them for aesthetic reasons, I just think they look cleaner.

I installed the Body Armor 4x4 RockSteps and the AMP Research Bed extender. I'm very happy with both. The bed extender was a very easy install. I had to cut part of the front brackets for the sidesteps so they would sit flush and level with the body. I also had to touch up a little paint on the the back corner of the side steps, they were sticking out of the box when they were delivered, nothing major, I just don't want them to rust. For the price, I can deal with those issues.

...^^^ ... Nice ... I like those side steps (RockStep rails) ... your feet don't kick the side of the truck when you step up ... first time I have ever seen this design.

...^^^... The craftsman style house your truck is parked in front of looks like my grandparent's old house (snowball bush on left and all, except color).

Their house was probably built in the 1920's and I am sure your's is a modern day version of it.

Brings back a lot of cool memories ... :)

PS ... I used to crawl out the top window and sneak out at night, even in the snow with wool socks taped to my feet ... not much room from top window to roof's edge to fall ... but i never fell in many times of doing that. ... I lived in the front upstairs bedroom.

One per side. Gonna buy two more for under the seats to illuminate rear entry.

Installed the Bilstein 5100s with a .85" lift. It still has a stock back. The front end feels a lot smoother.

Are they real carbon fibre or faux carbon fibre? If it's real please provide a link. Thanks!
