Hi everyone, I am a new Tacoma owner and was cleaning my front windshield and guess I didn't do as good job as I thought I was and now this is on my front windshield (refer to pic attached). One can only see it when under a street light at night or maybe in very bright sunlight. Please tell me there is a way to get this stuff off. Any help would gladly be appreciated.20160715_034857.jpg

like Rainx, sprayaway(most recent), and mostly been using the windows cleaner that comes with the Toyoguard package from the dealership. I would try to clean it off some and think I got it until I see the next morning on the way to work.

That is rain-x. It leaves a film like that. It will eventually come off with soap and water. I am not sure how to get it off immediately.

I use Sprayway and a micro fiber towel and always get good results .. is the haze on the inside or outside?

Just as long as it will come off and what kind of soap should I use?

Try a clean towel with some isopropyl alcohol and that should clean the haze off ... could of been the towel/rag or whatever you used to wipe it

After this haze goes away, is there a certain product combination ya'll recommend that is Tacoma specific or has best results on Tacoma windshields?

Just use a good glass cleaner like Sprayway and a clean waffle weave microfiber towel that you can get about anywhere like Walmart etc

Stoner's Invisible Glass + crumpled up newspaper. Cleans off the stubborn crap on the outside, leaves no haze on the inside.

Ok folks, I finished wiping front windshield down with alcohol to hopefully remove haze from rain x and finished off with spray away on the outside, is spray away safe on inside too?

The isopropanol is a volatile organic mixed with water. It will not harm glass in any way.

Old school, but news paper (black and white) has been used for generations and the results can't be beat. With the window wet, start with a dry paper and as it gets damped use it to clean the surface to a spotless finish. If you need to get the RainX off, use Dawn dish soap (blue) rinse well and keep off your painted finish if it has wax on it. $.02
