Sorry to hit ya'll with another lift question. I am leaning heavily toward OME 3" setup with the shocks and coils. One question is will i need to purchase the UCA's after the lift and if so WHY? 2nd is how would a 265/75/16 look on it size wise? If i don't do any off roading, would i be able to go bigger than the 265/75s?

    Thanks to all for looking.

UCA's would be for the best, you can run without them, but you would need them to get your alignment close to perfect. You can get some 285's on there with some trimming. 265 would look alright.

You can do 285/75/16 with minor trimming to ther fender. The trimming is un-noticeable. If you want your alignment to be back to specs and you dont want uneneven tire wear then yes get the uca's. I reccomend Light Racing uca's since you don't offroad.

In my Gallery, I have the stock 265/75/16's with 3" of OME lift. You don't have to get the UCAs, but wow what an improvement if you do. It just handles better, and "straighter".. smoother..? not sure how to explain but there is a significant improvement there. Do the lift without it first, and then if you are not 100%, add them!

You can go 285/75/16 with spacers if I am not mistaken.. haven't made that upgrade yet. Hope it helps.

Yes ^ If you want to leave the stock wheels on get the 1.25" Spidertrax spacers. Or you can get wheels with a different backspacing. I got the spacers and just painted my rims black.

285/75/16 + 1.25 spidertrax spacer on the TRD offroad rim = no rubbing?

With minor fender trimming I only rub in one spot. The body mounts. And I only rub there when I am seriously flexed and the wheel is turned. For as minimal as it rubs, it doesnt justify me getting the body mount chop mod done. No complaints here. I offroad a lot too.
