Hi guys, I'm about ready to order my lift from wheelers, and I was wondering if I am forgetting anything I need to order (or don't really need to order)

    What I have:
    OME 881 Coil Set
    Blistin 5100s Front and Rear
Assembly of front shocks/coils (says it includes top plates, stem cushions, and washers)
Wheelers Multi Leaf AAL 1.5" 3 Leaf Progressive (includes longer U bolts and center pins)
Wheelers 4x4 Differential Drop Kit with Skid Plate Spacers
2 Bolts for the front lower shock mounts
1/4" Thick Poly Strut Top Plate Spacer (for compensating for the drivers side lean)
Rear Brake Proportioning Valve Relocation Kit
    19" Extended Rear Brake Line

I know almost nothing about suspension so any help is greatly appreciated!

that about covers it.. You may get mixed responses on the need of the diff drop. I opted not to.

Good luck on the install, it's pretty straight forward. use the stock bottle jack to assist installing the front coil/shock assy - help press the upper A-arm downward

You may need extended brake lines. I replaced mine when I was in there. Don't know if it was 100% necessary.

Depending on how your compress the coils you may also need to rent the tool from the local store. If not I had no problem doing it the way pray4surf said.

Be sure and soak all the bolts as soon as possible to start getting them loose.

If your already in there you may want to consider replacing ball joints and your bushings. I had a buddy who got his lift in and then went to align the truck and couldn't because they were unable to adjust the camber bolts that were seized.

Good luck!!! It's a fun project.

The stock rear line is ~16". When I put an AAL in the back, I didn't originally order an extended rear line, but after installing I wasn't comfortable with the amount of play, so I went with a @ToyTec Lifts 20" extended brake line. Looks like wheelers has a , which would probably be enough.

For the diff drop up front - I did that too. Seemed like cheap insurance.

Awesome! Do I need rear shock bushings? I can only seem to find the front bushing/washer set on Wheeler's, unless it's somewhere obvious I haven't looked...

You wont need longer brake line with 5100s. Their not long enough to allow enough droop.

To get that strut in with the top plate spacer youl need to undo 4 lower balljoint bolts first to allow lca to drop the extra 1/4" (its a pain in the ass if you dont do this)

Oh boy this sounds like it's gonna be an interesting project... What do you guys recommend for soaking/loosening rusted bolts?

Only bolts i had a problem with was the 3 nuts at top of strut. Good heating with the MAP torch did trick.

Ive never not once had a penetrating oil actually work so i cant recommend any.

Sounds like you got it covered other than a few beers to have after you are finished.

I wonder if there's some variation between gen 1's when it comes to the brake lines. This first pic isn't great, but you can see there isn't much play (in just the normal sitting stance - with extension, the line was being pulled on too much for my comfort) after I added a single Toytec AAL. That's why I ended up using an extended line (second pic).

I have yet to pull the trigger but right now it's $821.10 without shipping

However you can save $46 if you don't have wheeler's assemble the front shocks/coils for you and just buy washers/stem cushions/top plate

Is that necessary with just a 1.5" AAL?
