Craig thanks again for the camp stove, seeing if my cam bolts were actually siezed (they are for those that care) and for greasing my U joints in the driveshafts!

Also for showing me how NOT to operate a butane powered stove... :D

Pic? I used the roll cage mount for the Super Quick Fist. Fucking pricey.

It was like 63-69 I think... Don't really remember... If the price is under 75 I don't really pay attention. I just buy lol. I attached it with 2 beam clamps... I stood on the mount and it held me so it definitely won't go anywhere

Thats really the only thing I was concerned with is someone trying to steal it but its a fucking $24 extinguisher.. Like if you are going to steal it you are not going to get anything for it lol. But by all means if Im there and your truck catches on fire use it. I will not be mad.

If it's an abc fire extinguisher you shouldn't use it on a vehicle anyway

Ehh its not as bad as some... Its not a water extinguisher thats for sure... But it is better then nothing

It will do some damage... But only if it gets wet... Granted if I have a fire the truck will probably be wet anyways but the water is what makes the powder corrosive... Worst case Ill ditch it and get just a BC extinguisher... But Id rather save the shell of the truck and redo wiring than lose the whole truck...

Thanks and yes actually I was thinking about that and also a hole for oil changes. Anyone know why some skids have a hole in the front with a bolt on plate? What would they want quick access to

In what area of the skid are you talking about?

Ill have to go see... If not wally world sells em... I just figured an ABC would be best considering most of the stuff that will burn is considered an Alpha fire anyway... Woods papers plastics... Ya know the shit our trucks are made of... Besides the wood part lol...

A C fire is an electrical fire but once you remove the source of electricity (turning the truck off) it is no longer a Charlie fire but instead becomes an Alpha fire... Shipboard firefighting is serious biz in the Coast Guard!

So our trucks are made of paper and plastic? :notsure:

And turning the vehicle off only disconnects the source of electricity if it's an ignition sourced circuit that is on fire. And typically that would be a fused circuit anyway. The more common cause of fire would be something that isn't fused and isn't easily disconnectable.

Carpet interior parts wire insulation wire loom seats blah blah blah list goes on... Thatd be the stuff that fuels the fire... Wire by itself won't just burn... Itll only spark and ignite other shit around it... Bravo fires for fuel as well.

BC for in the truck, ABC for when you're drunk and accidentally ignite something while sitting around a campfire.
