    So it is time for me to get a new battery.
    What do you guys recommend?
    I bought the optima red, and realized the the terminals were opposite and my leads were too short. And I was reading bad reviews on this battery as well. So I will be returning it tomorrow.

    Damn that northstar is pricey I don't think I could justify the price.
    I ended up exchanging for another optima red with the terminals in the correct in the right position. I figure I give it a shot

    Agreed. Dont get the love of Northstars on this forum, they have solid specs but at the price they charging I can buy two of another brand that are just as good and offer better warranties.

    OP, find a battery with longest warranty that meets oem specs and buy the bitch.
