When is your last and first day? Are you taking any time off in between?

 

Right now it is looking like 22nd / 25th. I'm sort of tempted to see about pushing it back to the first week of August...but I dont want to seem like I'm hesitating. So really it looks like I'll just have a typical weekend off, why whats up? Plans?????

 

Plans, besides the wheeling trip to Arkansas?

Haha no they do not. Nothing planned as of now, and I dont think I'll be making the Arkansas trip for sure now.

You know it's bullshit you have a rack and your 3 inches bigger , but when I put my 35s I get around 11-12 sometimes I can pull 220ish out of a tank if I'm really good

I get about 180 out of my tank on a normal fill up. But that is filling up after I drop to 1/4 of a tank. I try not to let it get lower than that.

Dang, I dont feel so bad now lol, I get about 250 out of a tank If I'm on cruise control for most of it.

 

Guess I don't feel bad either lol. I get 200 miles off a full tank loaded down with 2000lbs over stock weight on 37s

 

FYI. The skids you built me held up well. When I was in Colorado I landed pretty hard on the TC skid a few times. It took the abuse like a champ.

I can't use my cruise control to save on gas. It will shift down WAY to much. I can feather the skinny pedal to my liking much better.

I thought it was awesome seeing our community come together for no reason other than thinking someone deserved it. I don't understand why the mods shut it down. Why should they decide who is more deserving than someone else? This really ruffled my feathers!

 

Hey Warren what amp and sub do you have, and do you have a pic? I want an all encased unit with sub and amp but not sure yet. Just want to make sure I've got enough room for my crap back there that I keep adding to

 

I have a JL Audio W3 shallow mount and a 5 channel amp to push it along with the doors speakers that I upgraded also. Below are links to them. Mine only takes up one side (passenger) of the cubbies space behind the seats in the back of the truck. I've seen some use a couple of small 8in subs or other brands of shallow mounted woofers but I like my setup. It works for me.
