I think IFS is competitive in other applications like Ultra4. But as far as trucks and SUV's, I agree with you 100%. At least as far as trail rigs and crawlers are concerned.

Yeah. And those Ultra4 buggies are pretty nuts. I guess IFS really has its advantages whenever speed is involved.

Man I love those "buggies". Always try to make the races in barstow/Johnson valley. There is actually a night race tonight down there. Those engines just scream as there flying past!

That rig has flex, but significantly less.

I think it's badass though. Definitely not hating on any badass trail rig.

In the same way you shouldn't fanboy IFS. Just sayin...:boink:

He does have a lot more flex but I do see where you guys are coming from. Seeing is believing :notsure:

I got nothing against SAS. Just don't think its the right fit for me or @Nicklovin either. IFS can hold its own well enough for anything I'd do

Edit: Also, for all those hating on the Mudrunner and the 3.0, this guys running one in his and has had no problems. That rig is an inspiration

Not too into rock crawling so not really limiting myself. Ironically I like prerunning so ifs is perfect for me
Just trying to be the voice of reason for him. I know how much he's worried about rolling. Because of him I've taken the slowest trip around the lake in my life lol

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
It gets even worse. Still no truck, good excuse to catch me some Pokemans!

I hooked up my server today... Fucker is dead as a door nail for no reason. Ran fine, shut it down on Thursday last week, and it wont POST or anything today. :frusty: fuckfuckfuckfuck

Well made IFS just costs a fucking arm and a leg. A cheapo solid axle can can pull sick travel numbers but will not compare to the kind of money they put into those race trucks.

This whole debate is tired. stock IFS compared to a solid axle swap "solid axle more bettuh" hurdur.
