Lord Humongous and Imperator Furiosa drove the war rig home from gas town with a load of aqua cola and mothers milk. Pole cats and the bullet farmers behind us the whole way! Luckily those kamikrazy war boys had our back:eek:

In reality we picked up our new jayco 195 rb baja. It was about a 100 mile drive home and the little taco handled it great! I forgot to fill the ride-rites when we left the dealer so we stopped at a rest stop and put 20psi in them. You can see the squat before and after (we were excited and took pics lol). Pretty good controll downhill, getting passed by semi trucks with no WDH. I'll be putting a WDH in tomorrow since the dealer wanted 700 bucks to do it. She weighs about 3k dry with dry tounge weight of 280lbs. Walk through will be coming soon on my build thread.

I installed a bunch of crap over in my other thread. Feels good to get things out of boxes and onto the truck but now I feel the mod itch. That didn't turn out well for my wallet with my 2006 Scion tC. I spent more money than sense on that thing.

Gave my Tacoma a bath and snapped a few photos of a couple of mods that I thought might be worth sharing. 35% tint on the front two windows, and installed an SR5 grill with TRD emblem.

Also wanted to thank all the TacomaWorld'ers out there for sharing all this great info, extremely helpful.

Just got my truck back after my 5000 mi. check up. Had them change the oil with synthetic, torque my u-bolts, grease the u-joints, re-check the trans fluid, take a second shot at fixing the kazoo noise on drivers side door and fix the hood glue separation. When i got it back they said the wind noise thru the door was normal but as soon as i left the dealer it started again and it can be heard over my JBL stereo. They put a hard type caulking or glue on all the hood supports and repainted the underneath to match but what ever they laid the hood on left scuff marks and when they re-installed the hood they cross threaded one of the bolts that secures the hood to the hinge. Pissed.

I just used my fingernail to get a corner up enough to get a grip to pull and each one came off in one piece with pretty much no residue. I hit it with some spray wax and a microfiber towel afterwards. I'm sure the fact that my truck is only a few days old helped a lot with the ease of removal.
