    if your concerned about drilling into your A pillar, you could possibly use velcro or something that can stick on the pillar instead of in

    Not really concerned, just didn't want to do it if it wasn't really necessary...I read where some people left it off but I think I'll take your recommendation. What does the kit come with for the a piller? Self tapping screws?

    @slodc4
    Oh yeah, I used some Goo Be Gone. Not exactly a tool but I advise having some on hand.
    The instructions say to remove the gasket from the factory air box tube that extends into the fender. (You'll know what I'm talking about when you see the picture instructions.)
    It's not a gasket. It's a foam tape weather strip type of material. Pull off as much as you can and then apply Goo Be gone to the adhesive, let it sit for a bit, then wipe it off.
    It also helps to remove any over spray you might have when rattle canning the holes.

    Max the man. Thank you for all your work and time you have put into this. All the tracking numbers, posting all the information as it came to you, putting up with the BS that comes with this.
    Thank you Max.

    I haven't had mine on for a few years now. The brackets is a piece of shit so I have a new, larger one sitting in my garage ready to go on but you dint really need it.

    I used an undersized drill bit and used the supplied hardware (screws).

    My whole snorkle is hugging the truck and extremely tight fitting. It doesn't budge and I can shake the truck from it. So, I'd wager that the mount is adequate since it's job is to only hold the top of the snorkle in place.

    I found the nut I had dropped. Managed to get it on. So now I can claim 100% success during installation.

    Look where I'm pointing if you drop the nut for the mouting point to the left of the antenna and can't find it. It might be sitting near the mounting bracket for the hood. That's where I found it.

    You can see where the mounting point is in the other picture just behind that bracket and how it'll possibly fall into there. 20160717_084634.jpg 20160717_085158.jpg

    It's adequate until you hit a tree then it becomes a POS.

    Where I'm at there's more desert brush than trees. I'd have to try really hard to clip a tree.
    So, I should be good to go.
