Wanted to join the forum and introduce myself. I'll be trading in my Subaru Outback for a '17 Taco TRD OR or TRD PRO once pricing is announced. I've always wanted a truck and after test driving the Taco, I knew I found the one.

I've never owned a truck before so I am hoping to get a lift, wheels, tires, etc. on it if I don't get the PRO. Any advice would be welcome.

I'm really digging the white. The contrast with the black wheels/badges is pretty sweet. Plus, I've always liked the look of a white car.

White gives a lot of color options for wheels etc.

Welcome! I'm in the Renton/Covington area.

If you get the Pro, you have the lift already covered. If you don't, there are plenty of us in the area that can help install lifts.

Alright, I've basically decided that I'm not going to get a TRD Pro. I can do all that I want with aftermarket stuff. I'll probably order a 2017 this week for October delivery...if I can convince my wife that throwing $500 down is a good idea. After reading all the forums I am super stoked about the truck. I wish I could get it NOW but I like being married.

I'm excited to finally get a truck that I want and that I should have gotten 5 years ago when I purchased my Outback. I'm pretty confident I will order:

    2017 Super White
    DCSB
Premium Tech & JBL (Could go either way. Thoughts?)
    Towing Package
    17" TRD Pro Wheels
    265 75/17 KO2s

Personally I don't think I'd miss the PT/JBL in my truck that much. I don't use much of it, and don't I think my sound system is that great.

Good to know. I want to hear the difference between the two to figure out if it's worth the extra $1k or whatever.

I've got a 2013 Tacoma and to be honest I was actually pleasantly surprised with the decent quality of just the stock stereo.
