I've been in the appliance industry for a while. GE refrigerators are now (for the most part) produced by Samsung and made in Mexico. They're absolute junk. GE has been going down hill for a while now and they were actually purchased by Electrolux a few years ago (2014 I believe), who quickly gave up on them because of the poor quality of the manufacturing plants. So, Electrolux sold GE to Haier, a Chinese manufacturer. Long story short - avoid GE appliances like the plague.

    Now you tell me!

We bought our house last August, put a new gas stove, fridge, gas dryer and washer in it immediately, all GE...

Sorry to give you the bad news.

The good news is that they havent had many issues with their cooking appliances or laundry... so the stove, washer, and dryer should be OK. The primary issues theyre having are with refrigeration and dishwashing. KitchenAid is dominating that platform right now.

When you say dominating, do you mean in a good way, or bad way?

I wanted to go but already had plans, plus I will be at the Takeover and it already took some convincing to be away all weekend for that. Didn't want to push it because I will be away next weekend too at a bachelor party. Going rock fishing, eating crabs on the boat, then a night of just drankin!
