    I almost bought those exact components and coaxial.... But instead with with the Polk audio db6501 and db651.

    Haven't installed them yet. Tbh, idk why I changed my mind last minute lol. Perhaps the price.

    The box from Mr Marv looks amazing! Can't wait for mine to be delivered :)

    Idea from reading some of the other installs. What if you de-pinned the speaker plug from the jbl amp and re-pinned the plug with the input wires to the loc?

    Nothing cut and just reverse the process to put back to factory. That is unless you plan to tap the jbl amp output instead of cut wires?

    Had another idea. What if we had a spare connector to the JBL speaker outputs. I stopped by the dealer and they seemed to think they could order a connector. I was surprised. They should me three search results but couldn't tell me which connector. They wanted to look at it. So I plan to pull the cover off and get a close up of the outbound connector. Unless you have your amp posed and could pull the connector for a closeup pic. I would be much abliged.

    Call me at 423-343-6385 if you have a sec and see if I can explain. I might be way off on my understanding of how to get the speaker output from the JBL amp to the DSP.

    This is the best picture I have right now until I pull it apart again to put the enclosure in. One or more of these plugs has to be speaker input/output and sub input/output

    From what I can gather from the wire diagram, the fronts are coming out the top 12 pin white plug. The rear and tweeters are coming out the black 10 pin plug. The bottom plug is the sub out. If you look at that plug, it just connects to another plug that goes to the sub itself. You can see the black wire underneath the amp going to the sub.

    <edit>
    The white 24 pin plug is power and speakers into the amp.

    I did the same today with close up pics. I pulled the plugs and took pics of top and bottom.

    Subwoofer plug... I'm thinking the speaker wire on this plug comes from the top plug out of the amp... Size and colors match

    easy way to test is if you have a multimeter that does continuity, then you can check it that way to verify. done and done

    It appears tweets and rear doors are speaker put on the black middle plug. With top plug out I do not have sound from front doors and sub.

    Also... With black middle plug out I have no stereo control. Volume for example.

    Pin 8 TWL+
    Pin 7 TWL-

    SUB
    Looks to be all Lilac in color so
    (1st Coil)
    Green stripe WFL+
    Yellow Srtipe WFL-
    (2nd Coil)
    Black Stripe WFR+
    Red Stripe WFR-

    Should get you started.

    This is exactly what I did to my '13 JBL. Cut these wires, ran to a LC7i and then to amp. From amp, back to these wires and wire tap back in. Fade, balance and all works. I am not using the summing feature of the LC7i. I left the tweeters hooked up to the jbl amp. If you don't, then a LC7i won't work. Doesn't have enough inputs.

    @JasonT87 I see you have component speakers for the front. I don't believe you can use a LC6i. The jbl amp does the cross over internally. It sends the mid to the 6x9 and highs to the tweeters. The tweeters and the 6x9's are ran in parallel. If you don't hook the fronts and tweeters together and sum, then you won't have a full signal for your components to work. You would need something with 8 inputs (kicker ZXSUM8 example) to sum the two together. Then your components will work correctly. A LC6i only has 3 inputs. You don't have an input for the sub or tweeters.

    correct.... he had mentioned from the amp connector to the sub. that is what I was commenting on because they are by each other. yes, you would have to do door to amp otherwise
