Just use the Goo Gone to remove any left over residue if there is any. Spray it onto the towel so it doesn't seep into the door seals.
Heat is your best friend when removing film emblems and decals. It was high 90s yesterday, so that helped.

I did the same thing when my truck took a dip in the mud. Stripped the cab down to the sheetmetal so I could make sure I cleaned everything.

Swapped the stock muffler off yesterday, sounds so much better now, and as a side benefit, I find the truck easier to drive as I like to shift by sound more than looking at the gauges. I'll get a driving video sometime but that's not as easy to do haha

I think i successfully made a "build page". Take a look if you're interested. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/louies-build-2016-trd-off-road-double-cab.417631/
I think it's funny... A thousand pages ago people were all gung ho doing shit to their truck and everything was great. Now on page 1348 people are basically at the point where they have just given up and just buy shit because they are trained. "Well, I guess I'll buy that now too. Great". Or "great, some dick found something awesome that I now I have to get". Good times. Thanks tw, you have taken the fun out of Dumping money into these trucks!

Lol lol this is somewhat sarcastic. Don't yell at me. It's Sunday.

Removed my front sway bar completely

I don't have pictures but it took about half an hour. Lifted my truck into jack stands. Took off the front two wheels. Disconnected one end of each front end link connecting to the sway bar. Removed a bunch of other bolts to what looked like just frame support. Pulled out my sway bar and reconnected everything.

Overall impression. Love it. Absolutely love it. The truck feels more capable, smoother and handles bumps better. Going to go hit some trails and test it out with a few friends.

How does it handle on the on ramps to the highway? Considering trying that as it worked wonders for my old 1985 yota I used to have

Honestly I see a slight difference in body roll. Nothing major and I've already adjusted my driving to it. I don't even notice it anymore. I have 16,000 Kms on my 2016 and I wish I removed the sway bar from the beginning. 100x better

Well I know what I'm trying come Monday. Did it look like you would be able to leave it in place but with the end links disconnected?

It did but it was Definetly touching some mounts and I didn't like that. So I decided to just pull it out completely. The end links are so simple to remove it's no loss either. You don't need two wrenches or anything like that, literally just wrench it off lol. Try it for sure and if your not sold on it, super easy to put back

Anybody know if you can use the Fomoto oil drain valve with an RCI front skid?
