I am in the middle of putting in the ICON add a leaf. So I removed the Overload spring as instructed. But do I need to reinstall the old shim that was between the over load spring and the bottom leaf spring?

    This shim?

I do not recall seeing that part when I did mine. I would say it is not stock and should not be reinstalled. That part effectively removed the functionality of the factory overload.

My factory 3-leaf pack on my 2011 had no such thing.

Same here, at least I don't remember that being there. I do remember not have a 22mm deep socket to install the Icon u bolts, they're bigger than OEM

If you remove the overload, you should just reuse the factory Ubolts. They don't hang down as low as they are not extended length and factory hardware is usually higher quality. If you don't remove the overload the longer Ubolts are required.

Thanks all, Went with not using the shim. Seems to be ok.

New question. Did a 6112 kit on the front and the front left corner is making a squeaking noise during travel. Can't tell if it is the strut, sway bar or UCA. Thoughts or ideas? Or is it common to make some noise until things settle in. I have a video if it helps but I can't upload it

As for my shoes. I recycle my running shoes to my working around the house shoes. They are pretty nasty. Wife makes me keep them in the garage.

Did you torque everything to spec? Mine made zero squeaks. Are you running stock UCSs?

If you want to upload it, put it on YouTube and paste a link.
