Those wheels originally came on the truck when I first purchased it. I took them off for a while after I thought I damaged one. Wasn't as bad as I thought and it balanced out fine.

I've got some cmc and hammer time to do before I hit a trail. It's rubbing just a touch at full lock.

So today, while husband was helping his bff paint his house, I first measured the bed of my truck (yes mine. I've paid for it all myself :p) for the exact specifications for my plan/idea. Then I went to Home Depot to price the materials needed. They suck with assistance... A fellow shopper was kind enough to help me. :) Added it all up and presented it to husband when I met up with them for dinner. I'm all set to go for the most part. I think he just wants to build it with me... Which I'm happy about. He wants to wait until after the canopy is installed but I lovingly pointed out to him how difficult that would be for the initial build (trying to stand up and constantly hitting our heads). I would just like to get it done before the canopy is installed. I'm hoping to start working on it tomorrow while he's painting again... At least get the materials and cut down to size.

Highly unlikely I'll be there on the 13th. My wife's playing in the Seaside Beach Volleyball Tournament so I SHOULD probably go there. IF I don't, that's also the weekend of ol' Grand Pappy's birthday celebration down in Bend.

Wanna dump your husband for me? You want something, he doesn't have time to provide when you want it, so you do it yourself, and even better, you do it in a way that works for you

Trasharoo ordered and installed. I'm so mad at myself that I never ordered one earlier. Best 50 bucks spent in a long time. The storage possibilities just went up. I can now store my camping BBQ grill in it instead of in the bed stanking all my gear up. Having to burn my trash is a pain in the ass every time we go camping. And not everything burns so your still forced to bring it out. Def good buy.

If we had grizzly bears here I'd be worried. Since we only have black bears then they are going to be my 10mm glock g20's best friend as well as my stomach's. Mmmm bear sausage......

image.jpg Finally made it all the way to Surprise lake! Had to which up in 2 spots. Suffered some battle damage to rear bumper and rear tail light and fender side. And front bumper. And skids. On way down had biblical hail and sky draining rain which was very scary on the trail which turned into a river so you couldn't see the features. But all home safe. Was pretty fun. Zoom in on the 2nd pic and see the wheel marks from a jeep with 44s we pulled out. The wheel marks to the right of the tree! Insane! On the left is my wheel mark. Had to grab the tree in front to winch out. So glad it was there! Will post more tomorrow after I download from cameras. Truck had the living crap beat out of it today, time for new suspension and lot of love. It brought us home safe again!image.jpg

Have to de mud the truck first. Not big damage, just scratches and such. 1 small dent. So glad to have armor! Paint is pretty much destroyed tho.. Parts of the trail are about 1/3 as wide as the truck.
Btw, next time to Tahuya, we will go UP that trail in your sig, down is too easy after today. Seriously, parts were fucking gnarly.

I'm game.....I stopped giving a shit about the paint years ago. I couldn't buff out the scratches fast enough before I made new ones. Also why I went with steel wheels. Def not a mall crawler.
