Based on feedback since we've been making the 3rd gen mesh pieces, here's a new design that can be made available. I know many don't like using the Goop and some have experienced issues lining up the letters properly. This new single or double plate design can eliminate both of those issues.

The plates are aluminum, with stainless steel fasteners. Let me know your thoughts on this setup. Will post a single plate design soon.

That looks pretty awesome! I would lIke to see black hardware myself. I am very interested in seeing the single plate design.

Here's the first single plate version, done with the Goop method. Good black hardware seems hard to find, most of it I've used before either chips easily or rusts out quickly.

What are the prices for each type of the new plates?

Pricing will be a little more than the current letter pricing. I'd estimate the single plate (without the hardware setup) in powder coat flat black would probably go for ~$70 . There isn't much more material or cutting time involved but the sanding and cleanup on the plates is quite a bit more. The same color match or installed options would likely remain the same; $100 color match & $50 for install.

The double plate (with hardware) should be reasonable in powder coat flat black $110-120. The color match or pre-installed versions will be a sizable jump up in price. If there's demand for these plates with hardware, I can make some pre-cut mesh pieces that would already have the holes punched out in the installation location and installation cost would go down a little bit. For these first few hardware installs, I was cutting the holes by hand which was fairly frustrating.

Here's another single plate install. Hoping to get the first flat black one back from powder coat this week. Will attempt a much requested stars & striped install with it.

Looks like the Flat Black Small Perf mesh pieces will be out of stock for a few days. Hopefully they'll come back with the couple flat black plates I dropped off for powder coat a few days ago.

I've been getting a fair bit of emails asking for raw letters. If you need some, this is the time to get em. Just got in a fresh batch of laser cut letters finished. Better edges than before, minimal slag on the back.

Just a quick follow up on this. Here's how this Stars & Stripes look with a flat black top plate. Next step is to get one mounted with hardware. I've got the plates cut but the powder coating is taking forever nowadays. It'll probably be a few weeks before I have one mounted.

Sorry if it's been asked before. If I run my truck through the car wash would the rollers or water take the letters off? Thanks

With the adhesive method I typically use, they would likely not come off in a car wash. We've seen a few owners who've got in accidents with the letters still intact.

I go thru the car wash all the time with mine and never had a problem. If they are glued on right they won't come off

Got one of the first sharp letter sets with a Y being packed up today. I'll try to figure out an intuitive way to order this style of lettering pre-installed on the mesh. Our website is causing too much confusion as-is, I'm hesitant to add more options.

I can do them for the same price as the normal font. That exact setup retails for $379 +shipping (usually $30-40).

    Alright thanks.
Still out of my price range as I've saving up for wheels and tires.
Guess I'm looking at just some mesh.. :(

If you wanted to reuse your own bezel, and do the install of both mesh and letters, you could get it down to $125 + shipping.

Cool. I didn't even realize how much cheaper the DIY was. Hope it is not hard.
I have a Devil Horn emblem incoming, so no need for letters right now.

I'll be putting in an order for the mesh shortly. Thanks.
