Floated from spring gap to paw paw several times. My all time favorite section is the trough between Moorefield and Romney wv.

Sorry for the late response. Just saw this.

Its the 41. Works great. If i was to buy again, i would get the 51. A little bit more space goes a long way on longer trips.

I'm just curious, what about bears?
I always went camping with the idea cook a good 10-15 feet away from where you sleep and preferably downwind plus having your food in a bag hanging etc, but sleeping right next to you kitchen? Wouldn't a bear rip this open like a tin can?

I had a bear knock my offroad trailer back 10 feet trying to get into the dog food in it. While me and the dog were in a wall tent 15 feet away. Dog went nuts and didn't seem to matter to the bear, so I think your idea is a good one. Bear claws on galvanized metal are worse than fingernails on a chalk board. Just saying...

 Early and hot here yet, have to wait until the broods are larger to train in the woods and fields here. May your harvest be plentiful this fall (South Dakota phez, a good day's hunt)

Sorry to anyone if we're "dog-jacking" the thread for a bit.
I run Plott hounds on bear in the U.P. of Michigan, so I look forward to bears attempting to mess up my campsite cuz he's about to get some exercise if he does :)
    Beaty dog BTW

What a great looking Toller!! Been around the breed for almost if not 30 years now. The Toller in my avatar (black nosed) has been retired from hunting for almost 3 years now. He has been through a lot with me and always been there for me, as all dogs but especially Tollers are. 2 years ago I captured a picture of him in his prime. Well not quite in his prime but the light was

Special guy that has been in some rare circumstances with me

My Red Nose pup is probably a better hunter than him, well OK maybe a lot better. But I kind of knew that going in. Besides hunt tests and staying with the breed standard hunting is the most important part, at least to me. At the National Specialty in Wi. last year right before my grouse season pic the number 1 breeder in the US showed him for me.

He is large for a Toller, which is great for the tall grass you find for phez. Or sharpies (sharp tail grouse) like several of the earlier pictures showed. Damn sharpies I want to call hen! Even despite the cluck and V shaped wings. But that is upland hunting. I hit the lottery in SD this year and will be hunting ducks as a Non Resident in the morning and phez later. Tollers can Toll you know?!

Well damn it did it again. So how do you RTT guys get the wood stove up the ladder?

Yeah I apologize too, but hate to LOL. Hear you, I've seen a Plott drag the ball, chain and doghouse. And that was just after a coon....

No doubt! Had a bear in my yard the other night and if my kennels weren't on concrete they would've dug out and been long gone. And they wouldn't shut up about it for 2 hours straight after he ran off.

Love the set up in the rig! I had a 3/4 ton Dodge and a Hallmark truck camper but I sold it for my Taco, so the Springbar is my new 'base camp'..

    Shameless bird dog hunting pics...

That's my friends marvelous Grif. She has the best nose of any dog I've hunted with. Just a great dog..

When my female is not hunting she was usually found in my truck camper... In my bed..
