Anyone Running a front lift with stock rear PICTURES PLEASE

If anyone has any pictures of their Taco with a front lift and a stock rear i would really appreciate the help.....

This was before my rear lift. Here I had an OME 3" up front and tc uca's. The rear was just the stock tsb leafs and OME shocks.

 

so wait all you have is a 3'' in the front in these pictures that looks really level why is that?

 

He has the tsb, so it isn't a stock rear.

 

The front was about 1/4" higher. The tsb leafs gave my rear a tiny lift. If you have the 3 leaf leafpacks it wont look like that. Only if you had the tsb done.

 

ok i am still trying to figure this out what is a TSB job? is it a extra leaf?

 

Still considered stock.

The tacomas come with 3 leaf leafpacks. There is a Technical Service Bulletin in which you can get the leaf packs replaced for free with a 4 leaf leafpack. Still toyota parts. You have to be under warranty though.

Some people sell theirs on here for cheap fyi.

 

ok so if i did a lift in the front with like a 2.5'' or like 3'' with my stock back without the TSB do you think it would look stupid i dont like a super big lean i dont mind a slight lean just nothing drastic what you think?

 

What kind of lift are you looking into. I say get the bilstein shocks and set them at 2.5" and call it a day. If you want a rear lift you can always get one later.

 

i was just gonna get some spacers only because i was gonna have the guys as mod day do my lift and if i get the billys i have to get a coil presser and i dont think anyone there wants to deal with that

 

well if you get the billys we could take the coilovers off, head to a shop and have them compress the new shocks on real quick. It would be about 40 bucks. And you will more than likely like the billy lift over the spacers.

 

heres when i had the rear stock and just the icons up front. they come pre set around 2-2.5 inches. the lean is not to bad at all

 

that wouldnt be a bad idea would just anyone do that?

Most auto repair shope have a wall mounted spring compressor. You will pry have to call about 10 shops but you will find one that should do it for about 20 bucks a shock.

Maybe start calling shops nearby the place.

 

ya thats what ill do and see if i can find someone wheres the best place to buy the billys at online and over night them?

Oh Sweet. Im in Fontana. Just shop around online for them. Check in the for sale section here too. Idk how picky you are but there are some people that sell them used and already assymbled on the coils. That is a super easy 30 minute install.
