Put in my 30" Rigid Industry's led bar yesterday!

 

did you have to remove the bumper and/or front shell for install?

 

When I installed mine there, I just removed the grill and that was plenty of room to work.

 

Yeah, I told myself after i replaced my chrome one with a color match, that i would never remove it again... haha I felt like i was going to break something for sure when trying to get those clips undone along the bottom.

 

Once you do it a couple times it gets easier! There's just the 5 clips and 2 screws, and it slides on out. If you stick your head in there, you can see where the grill slides into the truck. Helps makes it easier to remove if you know exactly what you're pulling against.

 

Like he said below just took the grill off an more than enough room!

I was going through the same issue before buying it and I decided to go for it. The good thing is that it is easily removable if you decide to go a different route.
