Livermore Pleasanton Rod and Gun Club is still open. Tues-Fri 10-5, Sat, Sun, 9:30-5. Rifle Pistol Range up the hill and a Trap, 5 Stand, and Olympic Bunker range at the bottom. Great place, been going there for years.

Also Guns, Fishing, and Other Stuff in Dublin has an indoor range. Pretty nice.

Are there any ranges with 1k distance? I think there's a place in Sacramento but you have to be a member and go to a sanctioned match to access it if I'm not mistaken.

I used to buy all my shit from there during duck season, passing through Vacaville on the way to Delevan. Heard about the suicides. scary shit. I'm very picky about gun ranges. If i see someone who looks like they don't belong at a range for example, someone a few months back shooting a .45 sideways (gangsta style) with his pants past his ass and tattoos on his face all while exhibiting terrible muzzle control. Yeah time to pack my shit and go home.

Same thing at Livermore a few years back, old man loaded his shotgun with it pointing at the guy next to him. After asking him once to watch it, he did it again. needless to say I packed my shit and went home. Its not that hard to be a responsible gun owner. Proper range etiquette and safety goes a long way.

i hear ya. We were up in Lake Almanor range and some guys showed up and were firing off a pistol they brought in a TUPPERWARE container. Needless to say we stayed on the other side of the range until they left.

Jesus, sometimes I wish you had to take a simple IQ test to purchase a gun.

The problem with IQ tests is anyone can pass them. It's the common sense sense stuff that's of concern to me. You know; stuff like texting while driving and muzzle awareness.

My pet peeve is the people with collegiate license plate frames. I get they went to great schools and should be proud. Just maybe want to avoid sticking that pride on a vehicle you cannot drive ;)

I used to have to manage a few people with PhDs.

They were the dumbest fuckers I ever worked with. Could not get out of their own way.

I still do, in fact, work with several people with PhDs. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

    1. Do you have a PhD?
    2. Have you been triggered?
    3. That's what you think.

I am sure some people think I drive like an asshole. Those are probably the people parked first at a green light playing with their phones in front of me, or these ones lollygagging at a snail's pace through progressive signals while I ride their ass because THEY DON'T FUCKING GET IT.

50% of people should not be issued licenses.
