Damn, I'm getting excited about going to Raleigh to get gears in my truck. The lack of power with the 4cyl and 285s will be no more!

Looking for some feedback... Would you trade a 2015 Prerunner for this 4x4 OR? I am seriously debating it. My Prerunner has 33k on the clock, it's Toyota certified, and I got the extended service plan with it. This 4x4 has already had two owners but the price looks pretty good to me. What do ya'll think?

It looks clean...the main thing will be is if you'll be happy with where it leaves you money wise after the swap. Nice thing about the 4x4 you're looking at is it'll still be under warranty and eligible for Toyota's extended warranty (certified pre-owned) if it's not already.

EDIT: Just saw it's not at a Toyota dealer so it wouldn't be "certified" but you can still go to a Toyota dealership and purchase the extended warranty if you want.

Depends where you stand with the Prerunner. As someone that looks at car values regularly for work, if you won't roll negative equity, consider it. Do not roll negative equity into something that is costing you an extra $5k(estimated, not sure what you paid for the Prerunner). Do not stress yourself financially if you dont NEED it.

Absolutely agree with this; however, after TW takes over, everybody NEEDS a 4x4. :frusty:

@EricL Also, they titled it as a TRD PRO which it clearly isn't so I'd also make sure they're not trying to price it as one.

Question for yall...just got an ARB air compressor installed over the weekend so I'm looking ahead to the ARB rear locker next...any recommendations for a shop in SC that you would trust to do this? I don't have the knowledge or patience to try it myself.

I bought my 2012 with 30,000 miles back in March for $29 and some change.
But it was a long bed and had the lift and tires I need. Tacoma's ain't cheap. :frusty:
