Removal of back headrest in 2010 AC

    Anyone done so? These things are nothing but in the way; when they are up you can barely see out the back window and when folded down you can't put as much on the seat. Since on my AC nobody will be riding back there I want to take them off. Poorly designed back seat in AC IMO. Someone should make an aftermarket drop-in.

    I removed the center one and left the other 2...much better, still on perfect but better

    I even took them out of my DC, they for sure make a good size blind spot...

    1) Don't know how to get them off
    2) Too small for 7" video and they are not the same as the front headrest with the posts.

    remove the rear backing off the rear wall, and the head rest supports can be unbolted. There is a thread floating around on someone who did it. I will be probably be doing this in the spring. to f-n cold to mod

    Yes, if a person does not use the AC back seat for people, then it would be FAR safer to get these dang things out of the way of proper vision access.
