    I'm sure it's not a must....but it's a nice addition.

First muffler shop I called said they would not remove the cats. Then I looked up the regs on the TX air quality site. So I guess selling the truck without the parts installed and working is a problem...

The truck has 4 cats. Installing the y-pipe means removing the rear 2 cats along with the rear 2 flow sensors. The nice thing is the truck won't recognize that these parts are gone. No check engine light will come on. The truck will still have it's 2 front cats on the manifolds so unless whomever looks at it knows it's supposed to have 4 cats.....they'll never know... Or you can just always just replace the rear cats and sensors before you get rid of it.

Where are you finding rotors for the 1st gen? Just curious if I ever need new ones.

The high speed lab. They aren't 400 they are actually 650, and 950 of your core is fucked like mine...

Damn, I don't run a transfer case skid and I mangled my crossover pipe a bit OR. Time for the URD y-pipe next year when I get the funds.

I did end up rolling back my intake and exhaust mods though. The fake duals sounded great but they were a PITA in every other way and my intake wasn't going to play nice with my new snorkel.

hence Why I kept my stock air intake and stock Y pipe and will be installing Shortie headers (some day, sigh). When it comes time for smog, I just swap those in for a day, get it smoged, swap them back to fun.

Surprisingly the URD Y pipe hasn't suffered any damage whatsoever, and I have scratches on my trans crossmember. The Y pipe sits a hair higher than the crossmember so that's kinda cool, downside is most trans skids sit right where the Y pipe is so its a bitch finding something that fits.

If you were to have your supercharger powdercoated what color would you do? Black? I'm going to have mine powdercoated and not sure if I should just do black

That's a new one for me. Didn't realize that finding a trans skid would be a problem.

A couple of small spacers fixes this.

The grey TRD s/c was the first gen, the black is the second gen s/c (not to be confused with first/second gen Tacomas).

If I got to pick a color I'd go with something more fun, maybe a radiant red to match my truck lol.

    Yes they are.

However. Sounds like the install off just rotors is tricky and a pain.

Jonbond has every part you'd ever need to do a full rebuild. And they do rebuilds.
