Ichiban! Another Toyota in the family! Of course there's my Tacoma......and my son has a 2014 FJ Landcruiser....and now my son-in-law joins the fold with a 2008 4Runner. Great mechanical shape, just needs a paint job. (He's a painter) 78,000 miles. He's researching lifts now and we'll be doing that very soon. Already talk of a family trail run to Black Mountain in Harlan Kentucky later this summer! I'm pumped!

Yeah, love how the media spins everything their way and to heck with the truth!!

Loved the way the sheriff didn't back down when the reporter kept trying to get him to shut up or stay within the lines.

"We're going to have to take a short break and then we'll be back." <plays commercial> Sheriff if you don't follow the script we're going to have to end this interview.

The SIL is young enough and has that GO FOR IT attitude still. Me and Jay aren't quite as daring these days. It's not out of the realm of possibility that Dannie might get into something he can't get out of!

This is Toyota #3 for Dannie. He's owned a couple Tacoma's in the past. And one Dodge Power Wagon....He's got a good bit of off road experience himself. Jay (my son) rode with me when he was young, then owned a short bed Chevy 4wd before the FJ. My grandson (14) has a '99 Jeep Wrangler that they're rebuilding now. 2 Nephews have Jeeps, and my niece's husband has an Ultra4 buggy. My hope is we'll get all of us together for a fall or winter run some day. I'd love to camp out in the wilderness, build a big bonfire and sit around telling stories about the grandparents/parents/kids.
