It's true, I posted a picture of the TSB. if your VIN doesn't have any of these VIN segments, just wait, hopefully they will get it out soon.
Most TSB's have a full VIN range, this one does not, so make sure the dealer doesnt just dismiss it.
My truck is a June 2nd build date and it qualifies for this. (and of course I checked only a week prior and had no update available)
I have signed into TIS roughly 10 times today and never even noticed they released an update until I read it here. Most service writers are still in the dark about it.
Make an appointment, have them scan the ecu for updates, or even just tell them there is an open TSB for it.

May I ask why? I am not trying to be a dick, I just wanted to know what harm could come from giving someone a jump?
What do you have in mind in reference to that quote? I haven't seen a battery charger for lead acid batteries.
May I kindly ask why do you not own a cellphone @Scooter62? Also, are you military?

WHOA!! Another picture of a wild truck in its natural habitat, acting like a... a truck!

That's like the second 'wild' truck photo I've seen posted on here- it's pretty rare! Nice catch!!

Got the TSB 0077-16 today and now I have the truck the way it should have been to start it's so much better smooth downshift no delay from reverse to drive and at 80 mph it stays in 6th gear and doesn't hunt for gears IT ABOUT TIME Thanks Tacomaworld for making this happen as soon as it did

How long does it take to do? Just wondering if it's an appointment kinda thing or if I can just drop in to the dealer.

    I need those!!!!!!

I got my transmission tsb done today and bsm fixed cause it was full of sand and needed to be reprogrammed. Took around an hour at the dealer...the service guy had no Idea what I was talking about but the tech plugged the truck in and got it done after talking to him for a bit.

Got my ECM updated with the TSB 0077-16 as well this morning... And since it was at the dealership, had the parts department add the factory RS3200 security alarm & glass break sensor, as well as disable the seat belt chime.

Most reflash appointments take only 20 minutes to set up and complete. Add another 10 for the paperwork side of things, and another 10-15 for a tech to become available to do the job.

Yes, you can wait but you may be there over an hour.
(It's what I do. I can't deny the truth of the situation)

If anyone gets some BS from their dealer that they don't want to do it, just show them this. They didn't want to do mine until they saw that the VIN was in the affected group listed on the TSB

I would highly recommend new upper control arms with this setup. I could not imagine these coils with the stock UCAs. I would imagine the alignment shop would struggle to get it in spec.

Same here, my 887's feel a bit soft anyway. Lots of body roll. Would .85 bump it up close to an inch or half an inch?
