@Nicklovin bring the bike. Great place to learn. The sand is tacky and not soft like glamis or Dumont. Hell you don't even need a paddle tires in Pismo

Ya just watch me fall & eat it all day long hahaha. Only if I can convince my friend, who mind you doesnt want to bother to fix the bike, to at least let me borrow it let alone take it off his hands so I can get it looked over & see if it's fixable. Than you know find some form of heavy clothes as temporary gear to see if I really want to invest in it

@eccracer104 do you know anybody that would be interested in these? Carbon fiber knee braces EVS Web. Medium size. Only used 1 time. Have a small scratch on right leg. Think these were like $325 each. But I will sell for a great deal less.20160718_170300.jpg

You'll need some wire to link them. Think I soldered mine together with @SlipperyTaco kit. But you can use splice and quick connectors as well. You can tie the power into your DRL or to a fuse and set it to a switch. Not sure what the drl wire is on a 3rd gen.I'll look into it.

DRL for sure. Thank you! I usually stay away from wiring. Feel like it's one area i'm better off not messing with.

@eon_blue well since you have that hole, I could tell you how I made my flag pole. It's fairly simple, granted it shakes & makes a bit of noise but the thing is solid as long as it is tiightend down

sure, got any up close pics? I've seen some flag poles that mount into the towing hitch, but they're pricey and I was concerned it might not come up high enough to meet the criteria (think it was 7' from the bed?). I can't remember where I read that number because it isn't on the link, maybe I'm just imagining it

Wait do you have the tow hitch or tow ball? Because I have a hole in my bumper for the tow ball & I don't have the tow hitch which lets me do what I did, otherwise it'd probably be in the way

I got my ECM flashed with the new transmission software today. Only drove 8 miles home but it felt nice going up and over some hills

Yeah I have the hitch actually so it would be in the way. Think I might just get one of the hitch flag pole holders

It may still work :notsure:, but your call. My setup involves a solid thread stuck through the tow ball hole, a washer & bolt on each side of the bumper to hold the thread in place (granted it shakes a little since it isn't a perfect fit), a pipe slid on top of the pipe to add the height which I drew a hole through the pipe & solid thread, stuffed a screw & bolt in there to attach them together, drilled 2 holes higher up on the pipe to attach a flag than
