@snowtank you will also have a basspro shop within reasonable mileage, and although not right around the corner still closer then you were before you will have an rei in Tempe.

Sounds good, when I lived in Vegas you can only imagine how many all you can eat sushi places existed lol.

one of the only reasons I like vegas is for all the food you can eat. That and being able to walk around with my beer.

I'm so weary of buffet sushi places.

I'm very picky about sushi to start. Recently went to a place by the house the everyone was raving about. It's was terrible. It was cheap and plentiful but gross. I will not be returning there. Best place I've found to date was a 6-7 table place with a 4 seat bar. Located somewhere around 55th ave and bell. The only sign was open. Found it through Yelp on a drive home one afternoon and the wife wanted sushi.

Yah I miss living 5 mins away from the strip, so you could have your fun but be home and away from everything. I still love the peppermill on the strip.

The way you describe it makes me think of Seinfeld when George goes to that club with the super model magazine picture, and when he brings everyone back it's a butcher shop, and he keeps swearing it was there and no one believes him, then the picture he dropped like blows by or something as they leave.

I'm the exact opposite of you.

    Is it fish?
    yes.
    I'm eating it.

If I'm craving it enough, I will eat gas station sushi, airport sushi, grocery store pre-packaged sushi. It's like crack to me.

Anyone know anyone looking for a roommate?

The apartment that I want to move into is a tad bit pricey for a 1 bedroom :pout:

There is a good sushi place near Power on Superstition Springs. Love it. Use to go there when I lived out there. It's where the Hooters use to be.

All very small and really good. Nothing really beats fresh Ahi in Hawaii, but these places are great in Phoenix.

But for throwing down sushi, Teharu revolving sushi.

Don't necessarily have a "favourite" but a spicy tuna roll is always ordered. I'll never order or pay for a Califonia roll. I also do not order rolls with cream cheese filling or sauce. It's too overpowering.

I like to see what the chefs have for specials and small shops have different names for similar rolls. I'll try most anything when the first few bites are top notch.

Yep sold the Tacoma. Picked up a Tundra. With the blower and the old man tires it get around 14-16. On my trip to colorado I was able to get 18 on a section with no ac and a slight down hill.
