    Going in tomorrow for my 5k service. I do have the issue from park to drive or reverse to drive. However, it only happens from a cold start do you guys think they'll reflash my truck. I printed the TSB from OP to show them just in case they dont want to do it.

    Not sure if anyone's interested, but here's the packet that the dealership handed me today. It breaks down the Transmission TSB for the 3rd Gens. It looks to me as if some trucks already have it...check out page 4. Maybe the brand new ones are receiving the flash before leaving the factory.

    Well I can honestly say that this is worth it left the dealer went north on 85 cruse set at 80mph and it holds 6th gear now no delay from reverse to drive and shifts like it should :thumbsup::mudding::yay:

    Got my appointment on Thursday. Told them what I wanted done and symptoms. Didn't seem to give me any problem. Hopefully it will go smooth and the transmission will shift better.

    2GR is the 3.5. Go back a couple of posts and see if your vin has one of the vin segments listed. If not then this update does not apply to your truck. Mine is a RZ5CN so its covered.

    Look at the vin numbers on the TSB if your vin has those numbers it applies if not it doesn't

    I asked the guy who receives and brings vehicles in and out if they really set the pressure to 32 and he said, "I doubt it." I was going to be pissed if they dropped my pressure from 38 to 32... I checked on the dash and they were not changed. They have to pump them up to 32 for CARB compliance around here
    Call corporate from the parking lot and then go back inside.

    Is it just me or is this like, when we were kids, trying to sleep on Christmas eve. Haven't seen this much excitement since they unveiled the 2016 Tacoma.

    Update: i have the DZ5BN
    Im going back to the dealer now
    Thats the 3nd time they lied to me. First time they said they greased all my joints and i proved them wrong, 2nd time they said an engine light will come on if my trans fluid was low, so i went home and ended up adding 1 litre myself

    I've only driven 8 miles home but it was nice. It shifted a little harder than normal at first but then it was good. I tried shifting from N to D and N to R and it set into gear faster than before. It also upshifted more than normal when climbing and didn't feel like it was going to drop into 4th when I was going up a small hill into the wind. It usually upshifted into fourth
